  • Tenolysis Therapy Before proceeding with tenolysis, Passive range of motion should exceed active, and ideally be normal. Range of motion should have reached a plateau.

    Have a clear plan for how the active muscle movement will be duplicated in the operating room in the event that sedation or tourniquet effect will prevent active motion.

    Have a clear plan of range of motion exercises understood and demonstrated by the patient before surgery.

    Confirm that there are no pending obstacles to postoperative supervised therapy (insurance coverage, transportation, etc)
